Welcome to Proxis (“we,” “us,” “our”). We provide AI-powered phone and SMS communication tools to home-service businesses (“Clients”). When you submit a form on a Client’s website, call, or text a number powered by Proxis, you are using our communication platform.
These Terms of Service explain the conditions under which you interact with messages sent through Proxis. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
SMS Messaging Terms and Consent
Transactional Messages Only
Proxis sends SMS messages strictly for transactional purposes related to your service inquiry. These may include:
- Appointment scheduling
- Appointment confirmations
- Service reminders
- Updates on your request
- Questions needed to complete your job
- Price quotes
We do not send marketing or promotional messages unless you have explicitly opted in through a separate process.
How You Provide Consent
You give express consent to receive transactional SMS messages when you:
- Submit a form on a Client’s website that includes your phone number, or
- Send a text message to a phone number operated by that Client through Proxis.
Consent applies only to communications about your active service request and is not a condition of purchase.
Standard messaging and data rates may apply.
How to Stop Messages
You may opt out at any time:
- Reply STOP to immediately stop receiving SMS messages.
You will receive one final confirmation message. After that, no further messages will be sent unless you re-initiate contact.
How to Get Help
Reply HELP for instructions, assistance, or support related to the messaging service.
Carrier Disclaimer
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed, undelivered, or duplicated messages.
- Message frequency varies based on your interactions.
- Standard messaging and data rates may apply.
Use of Our Services
By interacting with Proxis, you agree to use the communication service only for legitimate purposes related to your service inquiry.
You must not use Proxis to send:
- Spam
- Fraudulent or deceptive messages
- Threatening, harassing, or abusive content
- Any communication that violates local, state, or federal laws
We may restrict or terminate access for misuse.
Data and Privacy
We respect your privacy. Information you provide—including your name, phone number, service details, and other relevant data—is used solely to assist the specific Client you contacted.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not share your information with third parties for marketing.
Data handling is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, stored, and protected.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Proxis platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- Timely delivery of messages
- That communications will meet your expectations
- That AI-generated responses will always be accurate
Message delivery depends on third-party carriers and networks outside our control.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on this page along with a new “Last updated” date.
Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
